Characterization
Characterization - The way an author presents characters. There are two main approaches to characterization, which are listed below:
Direct Characterization - When the author tells the reader about the character.
Ex. The patient boy and the quiet girl were both at the game.
Indirect Characterization - When the author shows the reader about the character through thoughts, feelings, actions and dialogue.
Ex. He noticed that she only spoke positively of others. F
